FROM THIS LAND

Domaine Laffont currently encompasses 3.8 hectares of vineyard within the original estate. 80% of this is planted with Tannat vines with the balance consisting of Cabernet Franc and Petit Manseng. This large harvest of Tannat forms the principal varietal of our signature reds: Tradition, Erigone, Hecate and Céleste. An additional 8.4 hectares located nearby also provide Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng and Petit Courbu for our production of white wines including the sweet Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh and Pacherenc Sec. At an altitude of 200 meters, each of these varietals benefits from long days of sunshine unaided by additional irrigation to allow the vineyard to maintain the unique characteristics of its terroir.
